Scripture teaches us in Malachi 3:10-11 (NIV)

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit, says the Lord Almighty.”

Tithing places you into the Abundant and Witness Protection Program of God. According to Malachi, God will not only pour out blessings upon you but God will also protect you from the devourer. As a tither you don’t have to walk around rebuking things, God will do that for you as a result of your faithfulness. I urge you today to become a Tither!
